Caring for your Boo
Caring for your Boo
Your Boo is made from good natural materials, so a little care goes a long way. Here is how to keep it absorbent, soft and looking its best.
Everyday care
-
Let it dry out properly
Boo is made from natural fibres, so always let it dry fully after use. Never fold a damp bib away or shut it in a closed container, because mildew marks can set in.
Wash it regularly at 40°C and let it air dry completely afterwards. Leaving it damp in a pile is the one thing that will spoil it.

Drying
Boo is cotton terry with a printed design. You can tumble dry it, although air drying will keep it in good shape for far longer. High heat can shrink the fabric, pull it out of shape and dull the print over time.
How to wash it
- Soak it first if you need to. If a stain has had time to set, soak the bib for about 30 minutes in warm water with a spoonful of bicarbonate of soda.
- Machine wash. Wash at 40°C or 60°C depending on the style, using a gentle detergent. Non-biological is the kindest on little ones' skin. Please skip the fabric conditioner, it coats the fibres and reduces how much your Boo can soak up. The right temperature is on the care label inside the bib.
- Dry it outdoors if you can. Fresh air and sunshine are your best friends here. Daylight naturally lifts marks and helps enormously with stubborn carrot stains.
Looked after this way, a Boo will see you through years of messy meals. If anything is not right, just get in touch, we are always happy to help.
